Anthony Nestor – Partner

Anthony Nestor is a native of Tuam and he is resident in Ballyhaunis since 1980. With the help and support of his wife Ann, he commenced public practice in 1987 as Nestor & Co. Certified Public Accountants.

Over the past 35 years in business he has accumulated an invaluable body of knowledge across many business sectors particularly manufacturing  and construction. He brings that knowledge to bear on every file on which he works. Anthony now collaborates with clients on debt restructuring, project financing and strategic business planning.

Brendan Grogan – Partner

Brendan Grogan joined Nestor & Co in 1990 and now occupies the role of Managing Partner. As well as administering the firm, Brendan provides business advisory services to a broad range of family-owned businesses.    He makes a point of getting to know our client’s needs and aspirations, so that he can make a worthwhile contribution to their business. He has an eye for detail and an innate ability to solve the most intractable problems.  He advises business start ups  and mature SMEs on all aspects of business management.

Brendan loves GAA and is immensely loyal to his Offaly roots, even though he has lived in Mayo for over two decades.

He dislikes jargon and has no favourite quotes.

Aidan Morgan – Partner

Aidan Morgan  joined the staff  of Nestor & Co in 2001 as an audit manager. He qualified as an A.C.C.A in his native Co. Down and was subsequently admitted to membership of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland  and the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.

Aidan heads the Audit Assurance team at Nestor & Co. He has built up a wealth of experience advising the Credit Union sector, not-for-profit organisations and charities. He believes passionately that the audit should be more than an academic exercise. It should offer value for money and serve the needs of all end users.

Kevin Cahill – Partner

Kevin is the resident partner at our Ballaghaderreen office.   He is a C.P.A and a member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.  He joined Nestor & Co as a trainee in 1995 and never left.

Kevin and his team support the SME sector in Mayo/ Roscommon with the full array of accounting and taxation services.  Over the years he has accumulated considerable experience in advising business owners on tax compliance, tax efficient strategies  and  the do’s and don’t  of starting a business.

Kevin is an avid GAA fan. He played senior football for Mayo for 10 years including the fateful campaigns of 1996 and 1997. He has experienced the agony, and like all Mayo fans he still  awaits the ecstasy.

Kevin is married to Teresa and they have two daughters.

Elaine Heaney – Senior Consultant

Elaine is a Chartered Accountant and she has worked with Nestor & Co for the past 15 years in various capacities .

She is highly experienced in Audit Assurance and Compliance.   She has amassed valuable expertise  working with Credit Union clients, including  Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Loan Book review and Risk and Compliance reviews.

Elaine is the consummate professional and strives for perfection in everything she does.

She lives in Claremorris with her husband John and their three children.
